All aboard! Durango Blues Train tickets are on sale now. Tickets are very limited and sell out quickly, so act fast.
Tickets are $165 (plus fees) per person
The Blues Train is approximately 3.5 hours long round-trip
The train begins boarding at the train depot at 6:30 pm
The departure time is at 7:00 pm sharp
The return time to the Depot is tentative at 10:30 pm
There is a 15-20 minute break at Rockwood at approximately 8:30 pm
Follow the steps below to make your purchase as smooth as possible.
Step 1: Create a Ticketing Profile
Set up a user profile with Front Gate Tickets. Click “Sign In” at the top menu and create an account using your email address or connect through Facebook.
Step 2: Select Tickets and Move Quickly
Log in to the Front Gate Tickets page. After selecting tickets, you’ll have 10 minutes to complete checkout. Review ticket options in advance so you can add them to your cart right away.
If tickets show as “unavailable,” it means they’re currently in other carts.
Tickets are not sold out until marked “Sold Out.” Because of time-outs or declined cards, tickets may return to inventory. Keep refreshing for another chance.
Important: There is a strict limit of 10 tickets per household per day. Orders above this limit may be cancelled without notice.

To commemorate our 11th year aboard the Historic Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, the Durango Blues Train is proud to introduce a limited edition souvenir laminate. Inspired by traditional festival badges, the laminate features the poster artwork on the front, with the lineup and band coach assignments on the back. Add a special collector's item to your order and take home a piece of history! Wear them on board and get them signed by the artists for a personal touch.
Keep in mind - all souvenir laminates will be handed out at the box office located at 479 Main Avenue in downtown Durango. Shipping is not available.

Summer in Durango is right around the corner — and so is the return of the Durango Blues Train. We’re thrilled to announce the artist lineup for performances on August 20-22, 2026.
The Durango Blues Train rolls out aboard the historic Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad with an incredible lineup featuring: The Boneshakers, Dick Earl’s Electric Witness, Dave Jordan & Co, Kara Grainger, Nigel Wearne, and Weary Ramblers.
Join us for an exciting 3.5-hour round-trip moving musical experience through the spectacular canyons of the San Juan National Forest. Powered by a historic steam locomotive, this one-of-a-kind event features six live blues performances on board.
Each artist performs in their own vintage coach, and guests are free to move from car to car — dancing, discovering new sounds, and soaking in the atmosphere. Four coaches offer seating, while two open-air dance cars invite you to get up and move.
