The views, the blues and the friend crews!
Thank you to everyone who joined us aboard the Durango Blues Train on May 29, 30, 31 — from the incredible musicians, to the foot-stomping fans, to our generous partners and of course, the historic train crew that helped make the magic happen.
Thank you to all the fans that made the trip to Durango, Colorado and locals who joined us for an experience we’ll never forget.
The Blues Train is possible thanks to the generous support of the General Palmer Hotel, Strater Hotel, Best Western PLUS Rio Grande Inn, Rochester Hotel, Durango Lodge, Telluride Brewing, Ska Brewing, Suntory Global Spirits, and 2nd Deli & Spirits.
A big thank you to the team of engineers, conductors, safety, bartenders and train staff for making things run smoothly.

The design for this year’s merch was done by Brian Rau of Chicago, IL and inspired from an experience on board the Blues Train years ago when a lone white horse stood still on the train tracks and stopped the blues train. The horse eventually stepped off the tracks and, to everyone’s enjoyment, ran the entire length alongside the train. Later that night, on the way back down from the highline, the horse was spotted again along the tracks. Folks who saw the white horse the night of the Blues Train still talk about it to this day.
