The June 2nd Durango Blues Train is SOLD OUT.

Please stay tuned for updates on our Fall 2012 Blues Train.

The Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad and the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival present the 2nd annual Durango Blues Train on June 2, 2012. This exclusive musical event provides 3 hours of live blues music while traveling on the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad’s coal-fired, steam-powered locomotive through the spectacular and breathtaking canyons of Colorado’s San Juan National Forest for an unforgettable experience.

This exclusive musical event features seven live blues bands performing on their own vintage rail car, as passengers are to free to dance, move and sample all the musical acts while traveling from one railcar to next. Entertainment and favorite libations are peppered with the scenery of the famous train featured in the Hollywood production, “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid."

Passengers will experience breath taking sunset views as the train winds onto the "Highline," a world famous section of the railroad where the train crawls along cliffs that are four hundred feet above the Animas River in a stretch of the San Juan National Forest, known to be the most beautiful section of the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad.
